Being the tourist, a hard job...
Yesterday, the 17th saw me peddling around the city of Chiang Rai looking for a dhl connection. Turns out there isn't any. There's only an agent who redirects the shipments to Chiang Mai as I was told. But it was a nice way to see some sites I otherwise hastily passed through... Chiang Rai has it's charms, but you have to look for it! Hahaha!
Moving on to today;
Well, what can I say? Is there a tourist inside of me that lurks to come out?
Maybe it did today. On recommendations by Mr. Somsri I went down to the White Temple. Some say, to really appreciate it, it takes an acquired taste. I am not gonna argue with that, but the craftsmanship is astonishing! Check out the pictures and find out for yourself:
