Looking back, looking ahead

Nearly two weeks have passed since I started out on the Mae Hong Son loop with HiRoads.

The ride has been a great experience and a nice, luxurious way to get acquainted with Thailand.

Great surroundings, friendly people and mostly really high end accommodations. God bless the king for those good roads as well!

I thank Marcel, Esther, Ivo, Uffe and Radboud for putting up with me and helping me out with some digital problems I bored them to death with! GoPro, Dropbox and Garmin presented me at sometimes with some steep learning curves, and probably them a headache. Still not solved totally, but nearly there! Hopefully I will get the hang of it, juggling all these gadgets before hitting home…

Tomorrow Marcel and I will head back to Chiang Mai City where he will catch up with his girlfriend and I will try to track down the DHL Parcycle. Looking forward to get my gear together and get this show on the road. I am depending on local DHL support, to ship some luggage ahead of me and direct me to the next DHL stop. So hopefully I will report on how these things work out in the far east on a regular basis. If and when I can get a chance to get connected to the interwebs.. :D
